The work

You will be part of a 12-person electrical crew terminating and testing 15 kV feeders, medium-voltage switchgear and Starline busway across two data halls on a hyperscale campus. All work is under MOP/SOP control with daily pre-task plans; live-work discipline and arc-flash CAT 4 PPE procedures are enforced by the site.

Responsibilities

• Pull, terminate and splice MV cable (3M/Raychem kits) and test with VLF/hipot
• Install and torque switchgear, transformers and busway to manufacturer specifications
• Support Level 3–4 commissioning with the Cx team
• Maintain as-builts and daily reports in Procore

Requirements

• Texas journeyman electrician licence (or reciprocal) with 4+ years industrial or mission-critical experience
• OSHA 30 and current NFPA 70E training
• Demonstrable MV termination experience; NETA Level 2 a plus
• Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check; must be authorized to work in the US

Pay and logistics

• $42–$52 per hour based on verified experience, overtime at 1.5×
• $150 per day per diem, paid tax-free under an accountable plan for workers who qualify (50+ miles from tax home)
• Travel in and out reimbursed; lodging assistance for the first week
• Baseline PPE issued by Fieldcraft; CAT 4 arc-flash suits and hot sticks supplied by the site
• Weekly pay every Friday with earned-wage access
