How we keep crews safe and sites compliant

W-2 employment, no exceptions

Every worker on a client site is our employee, covered by workers’ compensation and employers liability. We do not place 1099 contractors, because your MSA, your prequalification network and your carrier all assume employees.

Insurance that meets energy MSAs

General liability without an action-over exclusion, umbrella at $5M or $10M, hired and non-owned auto, crime, cyber and contractors pollution where required. Additional-insured, primary and non-contributory and waiver-of-subrogation endorsements issued on request.

Prequalification networks

ISNetworld, Avetta and Veriforce accounts maintained with written safety programs, OSHA 300/300A logs, TRIR/DART and EMR letter. DISA consortium enrolment for refining and chemical sites.

Credential control

Licences, GWO WINDA, NCCER, AWS, NETA, TWIC and Red Seal verified against the issuing registries before offer and tracked for expiry, so nobody mobilizes with a lapsed ticket.

PPE responsibilities

We issue baseline PPE (hard hat, eye and hearing protection, gloves, hi-vis) at no cost to the worker and verify footwear. Task-specific gear such as fall-arrest sets, arc-flash CAT 4 suits and FR clothing is coordinated with the host site and written into the MSA.

Joint-employer duties

Under OSHA’s Temporary Worker Initiative we inquire about site hazards, deliver general safety training and confirm protections before placement; the host provides the hazard assessment and site-specific training. Illinois and New Jersey temp-worker laws are followed where they apply.

Screening done right

Drug and alcohol testing through DISA or client-specified programs; background checks under FCRA with disclosure, authorization and adverse-action notices; EEOC individualized assessment.

Canada

Ontario temporary help agency licensing, provincial WCB coverage, Red Seal verification through Skilled Trades Ontario and Alberta Tradesecrets, CSTS-2020 and Energy Safety Canada orientations for Alberta and BC sites.

Reporting

Incident reporting within 24 hours, monthly safety statistics to clients on request, and a named account lead responsible for every project.
